Default New Rims! Knock off Vossen CV1's / Effect "Versa" And more Mods!

Well, I bought the Knock off Vossen CV3's from Traklite wheels. And now I have found the knock off CV1's at a great price. I cant decide which I like better. But they are on their way and I'll post pics just as soon as I get them on! New wheel specs. 18" x 8" +40 offset Black/Machined. I have black spline lugnuts as well as black valve stems to go on the wheels and I also have order, Weather Tech rain guards. Cant wait for the new Mods!

How do you know they are CV3 or CV1 replicas? I mean, that rim style is a pretty common aftermarket wheel design.

those look nothing like the CV1s at all...but anyways why go 18s when the car already comes with 18s.....Are you going with an aggressive offset and a slammed drop?

I think they look better than the CV1's. And no, Im not slamming . I like 18's , they are a good size wheel and not as expensive as 19-20's. 225/40/18 and 255/40/18 is what Im going to be running bc Im using the tires off my staggered setup.

These are the CV3's (knockoff) I have on my car right now.

Also below is a comparison between the two "CV1's"

"Replica" its very similar but defiantly not manufactured to be the same wheel. I like them better but that's just me I did think about lowering 1.5" just to close the wheel gap alittle but I'm still ify about that. I'm going to get a front lip, roof lip and rear lip and the weathertech ran guards and probably be done. Oh and drilled an slots

they "look" like lexani more ... but congrats on your purchase ... FYI, odd number wheels is more expensive than even number wheels .... 18's, 20's, and 22's are so common, you can probably get 20's for the price of 18's if not $100-$200 more ... oh and please do drop the car to cover the wheel gap being you're getting a lip kit and you don't want that ish looking like a dodge neon with ground effects riding 4x4 ..

I think he may have lost half the forum on the comments made. My only comment is why replica? Why support knockoffs? At the end of the day they wont really be worth a thing.....And I must agree they look nothing like the CV1s and IMO look ugly, Your replica cv3 look nothing like Cv3s except for the five spoke. Support authentic parts/rims oh well to each their own.

You do realize that before Vossen got big and everyone jumped on the "Vossen Bandwagon", everyone was toting around saying that they are fake wheels, dont support them because their early wheels looked a lot like asanti and giovanna rims. I hate to start the real/fake conversation but these companies all gotta start somewhere. its all about what the people want. Varrostoen is famous and well known by making knockoffs and doing well and XXR is literally right behind them. Same look same feel for half the price!

to the OP. They do resemble CV3's but not identical but to each their own. Post pics when you get them and have them mounted up!
