I have noticed that depending on what type of gas you use it does change. I one day skimped on gas in my car ( meaning put in the low grade gas 85 where I'm from (I know I know)) but when I checked the miles to empty thing it said 370 or so. When I put in what I usually put in (91) it said 405. So it does fluctuate on what type of gas you put in.

you have to take winter blend fuel into account. Plus look scroll through your display and look at your tank average. That is what is calculating your full tank around. If its around 18-19 mpg or less then its calculating based on that. It doesn't necessarily mean you will only get 280 miles on a full tank. If you drive around a little bit and your tank average goes up, then your next fill up will be more than 280. In the summer time when my tank average is around 24+, it usually shows around 350+ miles on a full tank. In the winter, I would still get more than 300+ miles to the full tank.

Also you cant really take into account what these southern cali guys say, they don't really have to deal with the cold weather and winter blend gas as bad as we do so their RWD's would say 350-400+ year round. I wouldn't waste my time taking it to the dealer, they are just gonna tell you its fine. just drive around like you normally do and keep an eye on it here and there. It will go up

Also if your car says 280 year round, then you need to change your driving style or do less city driving

I would disconnect your battery and reset the ecu. It needs to relearn after you installed your intake methinks...

Should take about a week of driving to relearn afterwards.

I went to the lexus dealer. The rep said his is250 is around 260 range approx. What the heck.. He said 280 is normal for lexus is250 ... i don't know what to believe. Do you guys have live picture of your car meter in full gas tank so i can show them... on the internet they said average mileage on is250 2010 awd is 23mpg . i did my math. 23 x 15 tank which is more than 280 and it is bull****... So i left my car there and they gave me a loaner car a Rx350 . I feel like a married guy with that car -_-"

OP is in Massachusetts, so he probably has AWD. No way he's getting 380+ miles per tank with AWD. When I fill up, it usually shows 320-330 range.
