Installed the Garax yesterday. I notice that the same passenger low beam still flickers but stays on.

Did I not correctly connect the ballast wire or is my ballast going out?

If flickering occurs, usually the ballast is bad. If the bulb is bad often it works when u first turn it on, after about 5 minutes of being on, it goes out.

If your light stays on, I'd monitor it just to see. If it goes out, swap the bulbs. If the problem switches to the opposite side then it's the bulb but if the same side still has a problem it's most likely the ballast. If it turns out to be the ballast, remove the headlight cover in the engine bay. I say this because you said you smelt a burning smell and I've experienced the same. If there is burning, the smell will be a lot stronger and you'll probably see smoke. Shine a light into the connector that attaches to the end of the bulb. Mine was completely charred.

I just removed the bulb and reinstalled it. The silver connector that connects to the bulb might of been loose. Does that silver connector turns and lock because mine does not turn at all.
