Quick question about playing DVD's
 

Admitted nooby here.. This is my first Lexus.. LOVE IT!

I've been reading lots of posts stating you need to have the Mark Levinson package to actually SEE the dvd play (rather than just hear the audio). Is this true? Or is there some DIY mod to make this work?

Assuming the vehicle doesn't have the ML system, any other ways to play a DVD?
