Hey guys,
Not really trying to fake the funk here but I really love my is250 but I think the front end looks a little girly. Just my opinion, many of you may not, who cares. I want to stay away from add-on lips because i hate having to deal with different types of materials like fiberglass, ABS plastic, etc. I want to just do the IS-F replica bumper conversion, no re-badging as an IS-F cuz its not, and i personally hate that slanted dual tip from the rear. I prefer the standard rear Just looking for a more aggressive and manlier front bumper. (really because everyone who drives an IS in my town is females and they all call it "cute" lol)

Just trying to find out if anyone who has done it or researched it knows if the splash shields are the same? It looks like the lower bumper are different shapes. Also I found the kit and they have those sensor holes but it looks as though my IS doesn't have sensors on the front bumper. unless im over looking it

You nailed it there. The IS has always been a chick car up until recent with the f sport model aggressive lines/aggressive grill =p.

The replica isf bumper made for the regular 2IS seems to have pretty good fitment. Its a direct bolt on

I haven't seen any replica bumpers without the headlamp washers, but it makes no difference because the bumper will still fit your car

 

I did and i even PM'd a few people and all the threads were old and no body responded. every thread was at least a year old. even the vendor that used to sell the bumper is gone.

I contemplated that bumper too but I liked that the IS F bumper is more squarer than the aggressive lines of the newer F sport


Yeah I love the new 3rd gen but I just got my 2g like a few months ago so I dont really want to trade up while i still owe some monies... even the 2g f sport

not the head lamp washers, the sensor holes up front. Everyone who did it before left those holes open and i dont want to do that
