Hi

Can i use the USB port of IS250(2010) to charge my mobile ?

Today i plug into my windows phone with the USB port, not for playing something but just for charging. Unfortunately it does not work. If i press AUX button it prompt USB error.

I am wondering whether I can use that USB port for mobile charging ?

I later found my HTC(Android) can be charged properly but Lumia521(windows phone) is not

Hi

I have a IS 250, 2010 also. From what Ive seen, for Android Devices like my Samsung Galaxy S3, it is able to charge my phone.I believe my friend was able to charge their Iphone 5.
Also I can charge my Apple Ipad Mini from the port., but than again, i might have charged it through my dual dc to usb plug, since it has both 2.1 and 2.0amp ports.

I would recommend getting a dual port dc plug, i have 1 plugged into my middle console port at all times.

Sadly not too sure about windows phone, I don't see why not. Maybe it could be due to the port not being 2.1amp

If you are charging Apple products then it works fine, My samsung sIII works fine too but charges really slow due to the low amp output, other than that you should be able to ..

I just bought a used 2013 RX 350. It has a round port at the bottom of the console, and a usb port near the top. The owner's manual is almost 6" thick, and the only thing I have found so far is how to connect an iPod to the entertainment system thru the USB. Do you think I should just plug my "dumb phone" into the USB to see if it charges, or should I use the round outlet in the bottom to charge it?

You'll never know until you try! If it charges via the USB you can use that but I find the cigarette lighter (round port) charges faster because you can use higher amp chargers.

Im really disappointed my 07 IS250 doesn't have a USB port

and also the logic on the OEM navigation is absurd.
