On a black IS I would say go CV1 matte silver would look great with a nice drop...CV2 are clean as well but I personally think cv1 looks great on black cars.

Just remember with Vossens come with a lot of haters...so be ready... It's like you have an iPhone which everyone buys what's great but android users are still going to hate

Iunno not hating man, I keep my mind open to different things and were actually considering Vossen for my next car hoping to get later this year but did some research and now I'm scared to pay that much money for Monoblock wheels that end up like these.....so going to shop around for alternatives

The OP asked about two wheels he's stuck between to get our opinion on the two options he suggested nothing about your open mind (no offense) but your response didn't help him decide. Not to mention the other 2 you suggested aren't they made from the same "material" so I guess they are prone to that issue as wll right?

Ooo I see...very helpful..I'm sure he appreciates it. What research did you find on the XXRs that you had on or you didn't bother to research those at the time? (Sarcastic question) 😁😂😂

I've done research on that too but considering the price point and that they're cast wheels, anything is possible doesn't matter the brand (including 90% OEM wheels)

However I'm looking to change a different car and want to get some nice wheels for them which is why I looked into Vossen due to its popularity and price point, however only found disappointing result.

(non-sarcastic answer)

If in your research all you find are disappointing results then it really puzzles me as to why all these people have their wheels...

Luckily all business have curbs..which is to say that 100% of people won't be happy or some May have issues...
For example I work on a Marketing team at American Express and our curb is 78% which means we expect 22% of the card holders will not like our product or changes yet we are still number 1 in the credit card business and top 10 on earnings world wide...so give or take 5% of Vossen owners may have had some issue which could either be manufacture or user error does that mean it isn't a great wheel.
If you look up any rim company I'm 100% sure there's someone that has had some type of dislike or issue.
