I kept my stock low beams since oem xenon is the best in functionality. In the fogs I used 3K HID then switched to NOKYA yellow bulbs 2500k i believe. HID in our reflective fogs produce too much glare for oncoming traffic and doesnt really produce a solid yellow light which helps in foggy conditions.

I personally run 6k for the low beams and 3k for the fogs. I don't drive with my fogs on so the 3k is more for the occasional look. If you drive with the fogs on, you may want to match the temp of your low beams. I find that the yellow fogs tend to wash out the blue/white light from the headlights.

If I recall, the IS300 and the 2nd gen GS's came with this type of setup stock didn't they? HID and yellow fogs?

I run OEM-style 4300K Harrison/Toshiba headlights and 2500K Hella Optilux "Extreme Yellow XY" fogs, and quite like the look of it on SGM. I'm not willing to do HID fogs (personal preference), and I definitely didn't like the combo of regular halogens next to the HIDs, so this was the logical step for me. My AE102 Corolla had been converted to European H4 headlights and had the JDM Corolla FX GT bumper with H3 fogs. I ran Osram Rallye 70/65W headlights with Narva Gold fogs, and wasn't thrilled with the look, so when the first fog light bulb blew, I swapped in a set of Narva Rangepower bulbs. Some combinations are just more pleasing to me I guess...
