What's the condition of the headlights? I assume average usage for 2 years old headlights, I wouldn't pay $500 (or $700 with bulbs and ballasts); you can add a hundred if it's very good condition. Since it's 2011, you should check for bubbles. Most of them don't look bad, but some of them make the headlights look diseased and breaking out with boils.

If you can wait to see if Sewell will have another sale on Black Friday, you might be able to get 2012 new headlights for $1200.

2 months later - I finally bit the bullet and purchased a used 2012 set.







It was definitely worth it...I think...No buyers remorse yet haha.

That's 100% - weird because on my iPhone it appears as a really bright solid line like most of the pictures here but on my SLR I assume it filters out the brightness so you can see the individual reflectors.

I just have them plug and play as per Sewell's wiring so it doesn't dim. At night when I try to take photos it's a big blob of glare on my SLR but my iPhone shows it nicely.
