Within 5 min of staring my car the radio beeps then cuts out for about 10 seconds then comes back on.

Radio/phone conversations are temporarily paused. Is this thing updating or do I have a problem?

Sounds like a problem. Possible battery issue? Any motor/performance issues? How's the navigation?

Sounds like a NAV issue. Is it just paused or is it being disconnected/reconnected?

As far as I can tell everything is functioning. I get a beep heard through he speakers and all sound stops. Phone/music/Nav; about 5-10 seconds later everything is working again.

Seems the beeping noise is tied to my lexus inform. It beeped once and contacted the service but since I didn't renew it couldn't connect but seemed like it was running a loop because it lasted for about 5 min.

Anyone else experience this?

i don't think there is any wireless updating feature to the nav system.
