Default Help: Front right wheel makes screeching noise

So the past few days I've noticed that the parking "BRAKE" light has been going on and off randomly on the gauges while driving. I assumed the sensor got messed up and was going to take a look this week. I never use my parking brake.

So this morning I get in the car and fire it up and the parking BRAKE light is on and the tire pressure sensor is also on, I check and no flats, all seem adequately pressurized.

I start pulling forward, immediately I get this sheet metal sounding screeching from the front right wheel. The screeching does get worse with speed and does not depend on brake use or pressure. I only made it half way out of my parking spot then reversed back in and left it for the day. Still is doing it when I got home.

Anyone have any ideas?

2010 IS250 AWD

I am not lowered, only mods are lights

Did do a recent oil change and the stuff ricocheted of the dip pan and sprayed wheel & brakes a bit. I wiped it down as much as possible with such little clearance.

What he said. I had a car that did the same and noticed the fluid level had gone below the sensor level. I put fluid in and the light never came back. It takes very little fluid level drop to set it off. Check that first.

Don't forget to check your brake pads if fluid level is right

The only explanation is the front brake pads are getting worn out. Check them soon.

Yeah what other poeple said.. check your brake pads.. if thats not it check for irregular scarring on your rotors.. you might have a stone caught somewhere thats pinned and can't get out.. you said it gets louder as you speed up which would make sense for this
