Default eBay F Sport Grills

Was looking for a new grill for my 2008 IS and found this one on ebay:

Lexus IS250 IS350 F-Sport Factory Style Black Front Sport Mesh Grille Grill

Only $50 though?! I see others on there that are like $200+ but seem to be for the later year cars.

Like this one: New Original Equipment OEM 2011-2013 Lexus IS250 F-Sport Front Grille Mesh Only

What the heck is the difference besides one is 2009+?

Anyone have the $50 special? Does it fit ok?

The first link you posted is a "F-Sport Factory Style". From what I read on here, its a replica. The fitment may or may not be spot on. The second one you posted is OEM. The fitment should be spot on and should be authentic which is why its so expensive

Correct

You can only find 06-08 "fsport" grills on ebay. 09+ you can only find on Sewell or from a dealer

Did a quick search for "fsport grill"

Replica VS oem is your difference. From what i've heard, many members are happy with their $50 Replica F Sport grill. I just Plasti Dipped my factory grill black for now until i eventually get the F Sport grill.

Also, some minor difference between the 2 other than fitment is the finish.

Replica is a solid black grill.

The genuine grill has a coat of silverish paint/finish on the front.

I just ordered one of the $50 dollar F Sport grills for my IS250. would you all recommend I plasti-dip or paint it? Or do you all think it would look good without it? Here is the link to my purchase:

how did you paint it? is there a cheap DIY option? I thought that since it was black, it might look good "as is" with my obsidian black. If not, what color do you think would compliment it, shiny black matte black, gunmetal, ect.?

I have a 2010 so I bought the grill insert from Sewell and it came in a glossy silver finish. I had a body shop paint the grill insert gloss black

Looks awesome Bob! You keep the lower grill stock? I can barely tell the difference, which will make me happy when I install the upper grill.

Yeah I didnt do anything to the lower grill.

When sitting in the sun, you can see the difference
