hello everyone in CL,i am a lexus fans from China, had my 2009 IS 2nd gen monified in and out. recently i had a chnace to upgrade the headlight to a leastest 2012 model with LEDs, here are my confuse points, i get the all new sets of headlight from the LEXUS dealer, ,which is excatly the same from the 2012 IS in the show room,but they are NOT a prewire set(PNP)set for the old version IS,and technicial fromthe dealers have no idea of wiring/rewire the new one, please help to provide pic or drawing as a tutorial

and thread from THINKTWICE,and i understand that most of you purchased the PNP kit from SEWELL and just focus on the hardware installations, i also aware the a relay flash must be change from the green one to a brown one,but it is really confusing on the wiring, what important note must be take?

so , PLEASE, which almightly would possibly show to how to make a 2012 HEADLIGHT rewired to a old version 2009 IS...thanks a billion time....

and FYI, i and the stock HID with my old headlight, and i dont really mind of lossing the AFS function, and i dont even mind it appear on the dash. i just wanted to know since the plug is different from the old old one, how to rewire it? use a old main plug to re connect all the new wire? or ?how?

and i understand it possible to directly connect the LED to the fuse of the start engine button, but which of the wire should i take???

when you are wiring the new headlight, it you want them to be on 100% at all time when you toggle from park to on position, the wiring should look like this.

1. the red and green are moving and also white and light purple...once you did those then its plug up and should come on

also make sure you have the power board for the LED's to trigger them on, you can use the old bulbs and may have to use a dremel and fabricate the bracket.

I am having the hardest time remove the wires. I took off the white piece and tried to push each metal tab down while pulling on the wire and I am having no luck am I doing something wrong?
