Ultimately, it's all about finding the right deal.
Did you have the potenzas I just got? The g019 grid? I have yet to see anyone in this forum who has experience with those. I'd like to know how they faired up.

Gotta disagree on the Falken Ziex's.... I put them on the Honda when the Kumhos came off and found them to be much softer, even though they were the same speed rating. Perhaps some of their other sizes perform better than their 205/60/16s. If I were to use anything other than the Michelins on the Lexus (or the Honda for that matter), it would likely be Hankooks. Not only have I run them before and liked them, many members on CL have given them very good reviews for our cars.

its funny how much back and forth with opinions on michelins. make it quite simple for everyone,
they are hands down the best tire manufacturer in world. the extra forty dollars a tire you get back in efficiency with gas mileage, the ride is the best especially with the primiacy mxv4 and the longevity of the tire is simply unbeatable averaging 50,000 miles
lets put the tire issue to rest unless you get a turanza serenity set for 200 less there is nothing else to consider for the touring car. cheers

I use Kumho, don;t really care about noise or comfort. Compared to my exhaust, the tire noise is barely audible. Compared to the aftermarket wheels and low profile tires, the harder tires makes barely any difference.

I'm ready to dump the OEM crappy Dunlops on my Wife's 2012 IS. These are the noisiest ,rough riding pieces of junk I've ever had on a car.. I tried to get the Stealership to swap the Dunflops for Michelins, but they wanted over $250.00 to swap them out.
I'm so ready to get Michelins.

I have them on both my IS250 and my Miata MX-5. Couldn't be more pleased. Handling, steering response, dry grip, comfort are all fine. At least as good as the Bridgestone OEM's on the IS and better than the Yokohama OEM's on the Miata. I don't aggressively drive in the rain, but wet grip seems fine. I hear they stink in the snow (I'll never know). Just as quiet as the OEM's.

Be careful when you get responses regarding Kumho Ecsta tires - they make a variety of Ecstas. Make sure they're talking about the Ecsta 4X.

Very reasonably priced also - good value.
