Hey guys, so I know its "just a car" and all, but after about a month of waiting I finally found the right 2IS for me- interior/exterior color I wanted, navi, and an even trade without putting a penny on top of my current car. I was about to pick her up tomorrow morning, and have had this on my mind for days now eagerly awaiting for Saturday to come!

Lone and behold, I get a call from the dealership this evening saying the car has been sold, and not to bother making the 4 hour drive.

Pretty upset here, hopefully I can find another one that I'm interested that I can do an even swap for! Some of you know how excited I was to finally put my hands on her!

Thanks for your condolences lol. I hate sounding like a brat, but this just really destroyed my entire mood. I was so excited to pick my baby up, it's like finding your true love and then having her walk away!!

 

Don't feel too bad, a car was sold right out under me, while I was taking it home to show the girl.
Stay the hell away from Mission Viejo Lexus California.

 

Ah, that totally sucks after being psyched up to pick it up and only to find out that it's sold. Hope that you'll be able to find another IS the way you wanted it optioned. Black Sapphire Pearl is a great color as it's the color of mine. =)

That's awful! As bad as it might seem initially, it's a reality more often than not for some buyers. But you'll find it again soon, maybe even a better one soon enough. Keep on searching!

To be honest I'd be pissed and contact the CEO or VP of the company (not Lexus). Let me know if you need help getting a phone number or email address. That's BULL****!!!!!!! I know that seems a little extreme, but I did it while purchasing my car at the largest Lexus dealership in the world and I got red carpet service from then on out.
