The other day i was trying to park in the only available parking space at a restaurant and the person in the spot next to mine parked literally in the middle of the line. It was a tight spot but i had no other choice. Pulling into it i accidentally hit one of those yellow stick things that have no obvious purpose. Anyway It doesn't look that bad. I figured if i replace the side skirt,take off the interior door panel and pop out the dent i should be fine. Any recommendations? It's embarrassing driving something you take pride in but is all ******ed up. Anyway here are the pics.

To be honest, that looks pretty bad. You could try to hit up a paintless dent removal guy to see if you could get the dents out, but paint is going to expensive.

Absolutely a visit to a body shop. Paint Less Dent Removal is not going to help much. He might be able to pull the dent out but the paint damage can't be cured with PDR.

A quick assessment are rear door, skirt and rear fender. They are badly scratched down below clear coat and needed to be resprayed.

I'm with the other guys...that looks pretty bad. It looks like dents in the door, rear fender, and side skirt from the pictures. PDR is really only for dents where there is little to no paint damage, which doesn't seem to be the case here. Honestly, if it were me, I would have circled around the parking lot a few more times or gone to another restaurant than take a chance with a tight spot.

The paint transfer can be removed via proper detailing... but the actual body damage will obviously need a body shop.

Sorry bro, that looks like a mess and might not be able to be removed by a dent remover. You could always try them first and get their opinion.

That's is a easy and cheap fix probably around $300 at a Russian body shop.

For some reason it looks horrible in the pictures. The door and fender are not messed up other than the paint and the dent in the door. It's just the side skit that is totaled. I honestly dont care about the paint or scratches. I figured a new side skirt and remove the dent and after that all i would need to do is paint. I plan on plasti dipping the car so paint Isn't an issue.

agreed the damage here looks pretty bad. even if you yourself tried to swap out panels, you'd have to look for panels the same color, etc. which is really hard to come by


if paint or color isnt an issue, then i'd say go ahead and get mismatched color for panels, etc.

cheap fix will be someone you know that has experience or works at a body shop that will do the work discounted at a garage or else where...

you can also take it to a franchise or cheaper body shop like maaco or 1day paint and body but remember you get what you pay for. It will come out pretty clean but don't expect stripping, primer, and multiple coats of paint and clear coat with a standard repair/price

and definitely don't accept any repairs from someone on the corner of the street or swap meet for 50 bucks....chance is they are working with Bondo...and will make your car look much horrible

Same thing had happened to me. I got my body repaired which hurt my wallet pretty good. So I went to OfficiallyDipped.com and got some Plasti Dip and decided to repaint my entire car myself.
