Default How to fit badge onto ISF Grill?

Hi,

I have purchased an ISF grill but looking at it, where the badge goes, the holder and mounting of it looks different to how my current badge is.

Am I supposed to use my exisiting badge? or do I buy an ISF specific badge? If so, does anyone have a link or part number?

Also, where can I buy the matching lower grill?

This is what I have:

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Tom

Yes I did, looking at it now, my car is 2009 facelifted and the ad is for 06 - 08.....I hope it still fits. Any idea about the badge?

EDIT: It is not a genuine Lexus item but was the cheapest I found on the whole bay of e. The build quality is very good and without seeing a genuine one, I wouldn't know the difference at all if it was sold as genuine.

I cant comment on the badge, but the grill wont fit your car.

06-08, 09-10, and 11+ all have different front bumpers and grills

Some members have been able to "custom" fit the 06-08 grille on a 09/10 model...

Probably some extra cutting, bending, drilling etc.

Reading on the lexus oc uk forums, some face lift 09 cars had the new bumper and not the grill.

Are there any obvious differences such as position of mountings?

Unless you actually have an 06-08 then well... OEM isn't a choice.

If you get the grill to fit, just rip off the Emblem from your stock grill , clean it with alcohol, use some 3m tape and slap it on there. There are two pegs on the back of the emblem for a guide, you can't go wrong. also don't pull either side too hard when removing the emblem, you can break the plastic guides on the back of it. Use a plastic puddy knife

I got the same one you rip off the Lexus emblem for the OEM one and put that little L piece on first then with double stick tape or glue you put the OEM over it comes out really good.

Thanks guys cos I looked at the L shaped piece, then my existing badge and it just didnt stack up as the existing one is one piece.

I am going to try and fit this grill when I fit my HID kit so hopefully can report back that it all fits with no problems.
