Default LED cluster needle repair

I did all my research and only found one video showing how to fully do the led needle repair for the 2is 250/350 and that video kinda sucks. Was anyone ever able to find a good write up with pics or anything to do this repair. I have soldering experience, I know how to take cluster out and I have a good link to get the blue LEDS from eBay. Or if there's anyone local in chicago that's maybe willing to do it, I don't want to ship it out! I want to attempt myself as a fun diy project for the weekend I'm just not comfortable without a great write up or really good video

It's not fun like you think cause those LED kinda small and need to really careful not to damage the plastic on the needles

I don't think that it is easy... a little ability and courage is necessary. I repaired them

I wonder how long it took someone to replace all the LED's in this car to the blue ones. I heard it took awhile because you have to solder everything together.

Already got it done, found a local guy in chicago and he did it for me. Best part, it only cost me $60 for the speedo and rpm needles. Took out cluster and out back all for free.

Wise move. Soldering SMD components requires good vision, a quality temperature controlled soldering station, and skill.

Took me well over 1.5 hours to complete the LED swapped.

Looks great, whitebeast. That's the way Lexus should have built it at the factory.

I know there's a vendor on here, think it's Tanin, who you can ship it to (they're in Wisconsin) and they can swap it out. For a price of course.
