Default Headlights!!!!

Hey CL, been a while.
For the last couple months i noticed my driver side headlight (stock HIDS) have lost their brightness and blue/purplish hue. Then just recently the headlight would just go off whilte driving and i would just click the HL's on and off real fast and they would come back on. Now they will not stay on at all, if i do the clicky thang it comes on for 1 sec and goes right out.

Do you guys think its just the bulb? I hope so, i would like to just buy a pair of bulbs n have someone put em in, dont know how to fit my hand in there. If u guys know its just the bulb, i would like a pair that are just like a nose hair more bluish/purplish than stock. Can you give me a link to the set i need? Hopefully the best priced ones out there.

Thanks in advance for your help.

If the bulbs shifted color I'm almost 100% sure it's the bulbs.

If you want slightly bluer than stock go with 6000k.

Sounds like its the bulbs. Stock bulbs are 4100-4300k. 6000k will be white with a very tiny hint of blue.

If you have stock HIDS, then you need D4S bulbs. I would recommend xenondepot for buying bulbs

bob4256 - Thanks for the recommendation!

JYOO - Have you tried to swapped the bulb to see if the problem follows the bulb? That determine whether its the bulb or not. If it is then we can get discount on HID bulbs that you need with your Club Lexus coupon code.

I just installed the Garax 6000k and they are the perfect tint of Blue. I did a lot of research before making my decision and it seemed like garax was pretty popular.

Yeah thats true. And for those who want to spend the extra $$$, the Philips bulbs are popular as well

I've got bulbs from the RetrofitSource, Morimoto's in 5K, a hint of blue, no complaints here!

Shoganai - I believe your stock HID bulbs on a Is350 is D4S, the coupon code for the Xtreme D4S HID bulbs is "CLGB08"

Which bulbs were you interested in? All factory OEM HID bulbs and halogen bulbs come with a 1 year warranty.

Thinking about the D4S XenonDepot HID Bulb. I just swapped the left and right bulbs to see if the flickering is a cause of the bulb or ballast. Hopefully it's just the bulb. Would love to support forum vendor so I'm trying to see if help is available if I run into trouble! Also, I can't seem to find those Putco 9006 bulbs for the fog lights. Any idea? Thanks.
