You can either drill or use double sided tape. I think there is a whole thread on using tape for the rear GFX. Lots of people use 3M tape but a few have used loctite with good results. I think the loctite tape can hold up to 50 pounds of weight

Thanks for the info Bob.

Quick question on the red outs. Where is the best place to get these from? I have read several threads and checked out rvinyl, aerotect and eBay. I would like to get the pre-cut vinyl for the yellow section and not interested in trying to heat wrap (I've already proven I'm dangerous with my heat gun) a complete tint to the entire tail. I'm hearing people say it's a $15 to $20 mod but rvinyl gets $30 for their red outs. If their kit for $30 is the best way to go, it's no biggie. Just want to make sure I'm getting what is going to work the best.

I remember buying my redouts from I think rvinyls ebay profile for like $12. Any redout will fine really

Aite. I now have the GFX rear AND the red outs on the way. I have a few days off at the end of next week, so may get these done then if both get here in time.

I'll be different and say don't go with redouts. I'd get the ebay LED tails or the 2011+ tails.

But aside from ALL of that, If I could go back and do it all over again from the start. The first mod I'd do is get a flat bottom steering wheel. It's thicker and just feels so good to get in the car and interact with it every time you drive.

Too bad those are extremely hard to find now - and not to mention they're a >$700 mod just for the steering wheel.

I've seen them and they are sweet. Sucks they are hard to find, not to mention they will likely be impossible to find by the time I'm ready to spend that kind of money.

Ouch! If I had a dollar for every time I sold something I had and then wished I had it back..... Let see, probably 35-40 amps and almost as many subs. The problem is you always want something different, and selling what you are pullling out helps fund the "upgrade". I bought a brand new Sundown Audio 18" Nightshade woofer for cheap once, decided I couldn't use it (box would have been massive) and sold it to a friend for what I paid for it.
