Thanks for the responses. I've talked to a number of people running the V12s and most have seemed very happy with them. I have not found as many people running the RE760s. I read the C&D article when it originally came out and looked through the reviews of these two tires on Tire Rack's site and they seem ridiculously similar based on the surveyed attributes; price differences are negligible as well.

While I would not mind buying another set of B'Stone tires, my wife may not feel the same. She went through two sets of RE050s on her G35 coupe in about 35k miles and burned through the Turanzas that came on her IS in about 26k miles. When it came time to replace the Turanzas her only request was "no more Bridgestones". What is sort of interesting to me is that she does not seem to drive hard, yet she wears through tires faster than I do. Having said that, she is the only one of us to fish-tail her IS...

cant stand the v12s especially now since they gain popularity and gone up in price. i went through 3sets about in a 2-3 yr span when the prices were cheaper. my experience, had 3 side bubbles that had to be replaced, weak sidewalls, doesnt strecth very well, they are grippy and wear out fast, and quiet. i recently switched over to kuhmos and loving them.

Can't really say about longevity cause I switch between both and have multiple sets of wheels in the last two years. Usually switch every 6-9 months. I can only attest to performance like grip and wet traction which are both great. Sorry that doesn't help you much lol!

I have had the v12's on my car for 6 months and have no complaints. Super quiet and grip like a beast. I bought mine from Discount Tire Direct, by far the cheapest I could find them and the shipping was free plus $80 mail in rebate.
