Hello Everyone,
I decided to mount my 19" wheels yesterday and have it aligned today by Sears. I drove to Sears and once my car was on the ramp they tell me they can't align my car because I lowered the car too much. Seriously? WTH? My car is an AWD is250 droped on Road springs which drop 2" full inches all around. I need help what should I do buy a front and rear camber kit ? whats the best way to fix this? Can the car be aligned by another shop without buying the camber kit? thanks in advance.

the best way to fix this is to go elsewhere to get an alignment done.

sears may be great for an alignment for your average nondescript sedan or soccer mom van, not so much for your 2is w/ road magnet springs.

unless you're trying to correct camber (which, btw, can not be adjusted from the factory), there's nothing you can do besides getting your alignment within factory specs - or as close as possible.

Thanks for your help, I found a local shop called Aligment Factory they supposedly specialize in alignment for lowered and aftermarket wheel setups. Would I still need a front camber kit to avoid inside tire wear?

IS 250 AWD vehicles come equipped with a camber adjustment on the front but it can't be adjusted very much. IDK if you can buy a camber kit for the rear.

The only advice I have is to never take your vehicle to Sears for vehicle services period!

Trust me, I have learned my lesson I'm going to take the car to the Alignment Factory to see what can they do for me .

I'm probably the dumbest when it comes to alignment I took my car to tire kingdom today and they told me the same thing sears sis. Tire kingdom gave me this print out posted below. I want to get the car Aligned and I don't want my tires to wear out uneven . What do I exactly need to buy and do? Sorry for my ignorance.

Ps: car is missing the vertex front lip which is currently being painted that's why the car looks so high.

May need to find a shop which specializes in frame and suspension systems to be able to adjust the geometry/subframe of to try to be able to get it in spec. There is a good possibility it does need the camber kit to adjust it the cambers if adjusting the geometry cannot do it.

Note below, the geometry on my car is corrected to balance the cambers out and same with the toes. Also notice thrust angle and steer ahead is 0.

BTW, my Lexus dealership was able to get my ride aligned with being lowered near 2.5" over stock. The ONLY thing they couldn't adjust was the excessive negative camber of course. Off the rack the toe and caster settings were all green, and the camber was all red (2.5 degrees front/2.8 degrees rear).

Since the camber was all red the tires are going to wear out uneven right? The only solution for that is a camber kit?
