Default Does this happen to anyone else?

I just picked up a 2007 250 AWD a few weeks back. After I wash it the weather stripping around the doors gets wet(of course) :

all looks good right?

But, when i shut the door BLAM:

The water/dirt around the weather stripping splatters down the side

Is this something you guys just live with? Or do i need to really get in there and clean out around the weather stripping each time?

Does anyone have any tips or pointers to remedy this?

Yeah this happens to me but its not dirty water. Make sure spray that area when cleaning to wash out the nasty stuff

Happens to me all the time, I use a master blaster (heated blow dryer for cars) to dry my car too. I live with it. Just wipe it off after the first drive.

Won't happen if the area where the strips are is clean. The PO of my 2010 kept my door jams and doors spotless. I've never had this problem when I wash my 350.

Do NOT peel those off, you won't like what will be left.

+1 on this. If you get it good and clean it will just be water. After I wash mine I dry the door jam's then open and close the doors few times them re-wipe/dry the bottom.

happens to me all the time, just lift the rubber up and clean under there, then use canned air or a blower to get most of the water out
