I acquired this 2010 lexus half a year ago. This is my first lexus. One thing that bugged me is how slow D mode engages. Is this just mine or on all is250 of this generation? I think it literally takes like 2-3 seconds to fully engage in D from any other gear position such as P R and N.

I dislike when people gas while shifting the car to D, so I always let it fully engage before i gas but this car takes way to long to engage.

I have a 2008 IS350, I don't think it takes more than 1 second for the car.

I got the same problem on my 07 IS350. But It's just happened when R position to drive mode.

i have an 09 IS250... I don't really notice any lag. Definitely not 2-3 seconds.

I think I saw a delay setting for gear engagement in Techstream..
