Just did the TPMS today but unfortunately didn't document the process with pictures. Its fairly simple though if you have the sensor ID #'s. Double click on "tire pressure monitor" then i believe you click "utility" and then there should be a function to add all 4 sensors by inputting the ID's. You can also choose whether to program your MAIN or 2ND set of sensors. Lastly, you can use the tool to pull up the ID's of any sensors already programmed (useful if you want to read the ID's off your current programmed tpms without taking the tires off).

Hope this helps...

That is not true. You can program used keys with everything you have right there. You will need to reset the immobilizer, and reregister all existing keys with the used one. You will need a 6 digit code that is generated by an algorithm of your VIN and the 96 digit seed number Techstream provides you for that session.

I bought my 2008 IS350 used and it came with only one key fob. I purchased a new, unprogrammed key fob online and just now programmed it to the car using the directions in this post. Big thumbs up!!

Please keep in mind, there is no way to program used keys/cards without additional expensive hardware/software.
So these steps only work for brand new never been programmed cards/keys.

These instructions are provided as a reference for you to refer to adding additional remotes to the car.
These procedures worked on my vehicle, however your miles may vary, therefore, I am, in no way, responsible for any damages caused in the process.
Please do not continue reading if you do not agree!

Stuffs you will need:
(1) - NEW, never programmed , Smart Card Key (parts # 89904-50641)
(1) - 32-bit Windows XP/7 laptop with Toyota Techstream installed
(1) - M-VCI USB to ODBII Cable with 32-bit drivers installed
(1) - Original programmed remote for the procedures

This is how a brand new, never programmed, found on eBay.

This is all the stuffs you need in order to program the key:

Location of the OBDII plug, it is right above the brake pedal with a black cover

Run Techstream, and click on "Connect to vehicle"

After initialising, this will show up, pick OTHER if you do not have radar cruise, then press next

Then double click on Smart Access

Then click on "Utility" on the left hand side

Then click on "Smart Code Registration"

Then check all the boxes and press next,

Then Techstream will inform you how many slots are available and taken,

Then Techstream will inform you to place both new and programmed remotes outside of the vehicle. Press next

When you are ready, press Pre-Start CHK to enable the Start box, and quickly tap the registered remote to the ignition botton in the vehicle with the L logo facing it.

Then quickly place the original remote outside of the vehicle and tap the smart card to the ignition button

Lastly, congratulations, you have successfully programmed the smart card to the system
Anytime knows where to buy a brand new key fob?

I thought the smart key card was only compatible with 08 and up? I have an 07. Might have to look into this.

I can confirm that 89904-50642 works for the 2006 IS350, just had to replace the battery that it came with before I programmed it with Techstream.
