I have a question regarding upgrading to the 2011-2012 clear outer taillight. I currently have a 2010 IS250 but got in an accident today and will have to replace one of the taillights so I figure time to upgrade to the clear lamp. My question is when I'm looking at sewell, it doesn't really describe the taillights except the picture. However from 2011-2013 section, I couldn't find the clear ones and only found the ember ones. In 2010, I was able to find the clear lamp and it's a bit confusing.

It's seems odd that in the 2011 section the upgrade is actually the downgrade to the ember light. Would I be able to just get the outer lamps from the 2010 section upgrade?

2011 should be clear, you can check with sewell, they're a vendor here on CL

 

Just redout
