Default Audio problems

2007 is350 with 56,000 miles. I just got the car from an auction and the audio doesn't seem to work. When I got to audio controls they don't respond when I press them. Everything works else except there is no audio. What could this be? Where should I start looking? Thanks

No, the touch screen works, navigation works, back up camera EVERYTHING works except there is no Audio and the audio controls like the bass don't seem to respond when I touch them. No sound coming out from the speakers.

sounds like a dead amp. Was there any aftermarket wiring or equipment left in the vehicle?

I had a similar issue a few weeks ago, took it to the dealer and it turned out to be the amp.

I don't see any aftermarket wiring. Damn how hard is it to replace the amp? How much did it cost? Thanks

factory amp might cost a pretty penny if it's the mark levinson. I suggest time to upgrade to a proper 5 channel

Okay fixed the problem. The car was hit on the quarter panel and the impact crushed the amp. Replaced the amp (got one for $150) and replaced two 30 amp fuses under the hood. Everything works now, thanks.
