2011 IS350 AWD - P0138 and P0607
Hi guys,
So I recently had my CEL light up along with the VSC light. Connecting to a reader, I had 2 codes: P0138 and P0607. P0138 is for 02 sensor Bank 1 sensor 2, and the P0607 is for control module performance. I've read that the second one can be triggered by the first. So my plan is to replace the O2 sensor. That's where my issue starts...
I've been searching this forum as well as several others and I'm getting conflicting information. Is bank 1 sensor 2 the downstream sensor on the driver or passenger side Most of my findings point to the passenger side, but inspecting the undercarriage, I saw that the protective crown around the driver side sensor is damaged (bent) making me think that could be the reason for the codes.
Can someone help clear this up for me or provide me with a diagram/technical document, or anything else?
Thanks a lot.

Thought I would share something I just found:
http://alflash.com.ua/Learn/banksengine10l.pdf
According to this document, for the 2GR-FSE engine, Bank 1 (B1) refers to the bank that includes cylinder No. 1 (passenger side) and Sensor 2 (S2) refers to the sensor that is located after the catalytic converters.
So it looks like I found the answer. If anyone else has contradicting or supporting information, I'd like to hear it.

Bank 1 is the RH side, bank 2 is the LH side. Sensor 1 (upstream) is in the manifold, sensor 2 (downstream) is in the front/mid pipe.
Bank 1 Sensor 1 = RH/Passenger Manifold Sensor (Upstream/Precat/Front Sensor)
Bank 1 Sensor 2 = RH/Passenger Pipe Sensor (Downstream/Postcat/Rear Sensor)
Bank 2 Sensor 1 = LH/Driver Manifold Sensor (Upstream/Precat/Front Sensor)
Bank 2 Sensor 2 = LH/Driver Pipe Sensor (Downstream/Postcat/Rear Sensor)
(Driver/Passenger designations only apply for LHD vehicles)

Thank you Jeff. The document I added a link for actually explains the location of each but I appreciate your response.

Thank you Steve, Jeff.
Yesterday I've just had my 2006 IS250's O2 Bank 1 Sensor 2 replaced due to P0138. Engine light issue solved for now... until the next light comes up =)
To avoid going back and forth to the mechanic, I had both sensor 2 / downstream ones replaced. Mechanic got it done within an hour for both.

2 in under an hour? That's pretty good. It took me over an hour for just one. Had to remove the passenger seat, some of the trim, pull back the carpet, and then fight with the sensor to unstick it from the exhaust.
Thank you Steve, Jeff.
