Need inner and outer rear cv boots AWD
Could someone please direct me to a supplier where I can get these. Im going to replace all 4. I got a crazy estimate from the dealer. Thanks so much-Bill

You got a crazy estimate probably because it takes more work and time to replace the boots rather than replace the whole shaft. Replaces the boots require taking out the axle and then repairing that. Sorry, I dont know any good places. good luck.

Lexus does not sell the rear boots separately, only the entire shaft. I'm not sure if anyone else sells boots for them or not.
Lexus states "The boot kit and clamps cannot be supplied separately, because it is structurally impossible to disassemble the drive shaft."

WM711...if Jeff says that the axle cannot be broken down to just replace the boots, it will be true. Purchase the axles from Sewell and install them yourself.

Now, the question I have would be during axle removing...is there a chance of fluid loss for the diff housing? If so, add some diff fluid to your order.
Good luck!

The fill plug on the rear diff is lower than the level of the axle opening when the axle is out of the car.
Beware, on rear axles, when trying to remove them, be prepared for frozen bolts, and DO NOT use excessive force on the hub assembly as it is aluminum....
Also, if you are going to remove the axles, you might as well put new axle seals in the differential as well...
