You could get it vinyled or painted
Or perhaps use plastidip

As much as I think Plasti Dip is great for emblems and wheels, I would say it's a no-go for the roof or hood. Vinyl's probably the best way to go since it's not permanent and it'll protect your factory paint.

You can get it painted if you want it to be permanent. You can get it wrapped in black or cf if you don't want to go the permanent route.

Good luck.

If your car isn't a lease and you don't mind a permanent change (unless you are wiling to pay to paint it back later) then get it painted black by a trusted body shop. If you think you may change your mind or want to get rid of it later (i.e. when selling the car) then get it done with vinyl.

Don't use plastidip, it will look terrible. I've seen it myself in person lol

Do NOT use Plastidip! It will look very uneven and horrible

pretty much all options listed above. I used Vinyl on my car and has been okay for 3 years or so.

Got black vinyl on my roof, looks good and its been on for about a year. Good thing about vinyl is that if it does get messed up or you want to go back to stock... just peel it off!

I've been toying with the idea of wrapping the roof in 3M di-noc. You can do that, or if you just want pure black, wrap it in black vinyl.

paint is SO much better!! I saw two IS's side by side this weekend and the paint looked bad ***! My shop quoted my buddy $700 to do it. Do it right the first time!

The vinyl will breakdown after a few years and make it difficult to remove. After I removed mine, it felt like the care was a bit cooler than with the roof. If I would do it I would have it painted.

It all depends what you are looking for, A reversible solution would be to Vinyl wrap it, If you want a permanent solution then paiting it would be your best bet, I agree with the others postedabove, DO NOT PLASTIDIP.
