IS350 EPA mileage improved after 2010??
What's up with the fuel mileage rating of the IS350? From the EPA site here:
http://www.fueleconomy.gov
The numbers are:
YEAR\tCITY\tHWY\tCombined
2006 19 26 21
2008 18 25 20
2009 18 25 20
2010 18 25 20
2011 20 27 22
2012 19 27 22
I thought the car was identical since introduction till now, when it comes to anything that would affect the mileage (engine / tranny / tire size / aero). Hard to believe the EPA tests could vary by 10% for the "same" car. Were there any ECU updates in 2011 that might account for the big improvement?
