IJDMTOY LED DRL with decoders bad experience
Well first of all I asked for the slim decoders, instead I received the large bulky decoders. Then when I installed them they seemed really dim, not nearly as bright as i have seen other club lexus members have, and last thing is every time I switch on high beams on they shut off and stop working, looking into into it. I figured out that it was blowing my DRL fuse every time I switch on high beams. After replacing the fuse twice I had enough and decided to get full refund.

I agree. I had the same experience... they are not bright. the decoders dont really work like they are supposed to. Actually when i hooked them up with the decoder and i put blinker on, they started to burn inside the decoder box haha. we were yelling "SMOKEE!!!". all bad... decided to go to al and ed's and get angel eyes (2 per headlight) instead.

If you did not receive the right decoders then why didn't you get the correct ones you wanted before installing them? For all that you know they could be decoders made for a different car. I'm sure they just sent you the old bulky ones too, but all I'm saying is I have the slim ones and they work perfectly fine.

for future referance, i can shed a little light (get it?) on the subject. i had the same issue doing a friend's 3gs install, but my multimeter revealed that the wiring was backwards. after reversing the connector they worked properly. unfortunately the fitment and quality of the bulb bases wasn't very good and they self destructed in my big gorilla hands. i will be ordering my friend a replacment from my usual led supplier.

mine working fine did you follow the direction to connect red wire from the decoder to the red on the light? my first setup was the IJDMtoy drl with the VLED drl module and that was a bad experience i went through 2 box of 15 amp fuse trying to figure out what was wrong it was blowing my fuse every time i shut off the car and turn it back on ... then I switched to the IJDMtoy decoder and everything is working fine so far.

Im still waiting on my slim decoders, the bulky ones were broke they are sending me out a new set, its almost been 2 weeks and havent heard back from them, I really wanna get my DRLs in. When you installed yours with the slim decoders was it just plug and play? I know some people here had problems with having to switch the clips.
