Default Seafoam

I had an idle problem a few months ago. And I used a can of the spray seafoam on my car. I just sprayed the can into the intake for about 5 minutes while someone kept the RPMs up.

Since I started using it. I havent had any issues with the idle.

hey ISFWes, could you be more specific on where you've sprayed the seafoam? I recently bought a spray as well and I was wondering what's the best way to use it. Thx

Its probably best to do this with the engine warm after a long drive, that way it would soften dirt and carbon. That should be better at cleaning I assume

Default Seafoam

I loosened up the MAF sensor between the air filter box and the throttle body. You can't remove the sensor. But you can lift it up and insert the thin plastic nozzle.

When you spray the fluid. The car starts to stall at idle. So I had someone hold the accelerator and rev the engine.

If you pour it into the gas tank, will it keep smoking until that tank of gas is done?

So whats the purpose of putting it in your gas tank? To keep it constantly cleaning?
