Default New to the forum - Just bought a 2006 IS250

Hey guys, I just purchased a 2006 IS250 this evening and I already ordered my first mod, a DDM tuning 5000K HID kit for the lows. I've had great luck with DDM tuning kits on other vehicles, so I figured it would make a great first modification.

At any rate, are there any other must-do mods for a newb? The car is completely bone stock. Look forward to participating on the forum!

Here's a picture of my new IS, and my other Lexus, a 1997 Lexus LX450.

Normally I'd be all over that, but I live off of a dirt road in a very rural area, so that's not an option for me. This old dirt road really hammers my vehicles.

Welcome to CL!
Putting HiDs in the fogs was one of my first minor mods too, but the real critical mod is dropping the car., thats not negotiable for any car mod discussions

no need to slam it. F sport springs gives you a nice subtle drop. I'm on Megan springs, only dropped 1.25 still pretty subte. My car is my daily and the roads here are crap as well so I didnt wanna slam it either

Welcome to CL!

You can always go AIR! Raise and lower at the push of a button

A must-do mod for me was interior LEDs... The stock lights are so dim!!

Welcome to CL. Slight drop and a gfx kit always works well, LEDs all over are a must have too.

I'm definitely going to do interior LEDs.

I was poking around online today and found a great deal on a Scosche Bluefusion kit, so I scooped that up.

I think the next mod will be an OEM style roof and trunk spoiler from OEM.thing on ebay.

How's the ride with F sport springs? I drive about 600 miles a week, and 4 miles a day on my dirt road.
