My new Carbon Fiber Window panels!!
3 Attachment(s)
Well, not really carbon fiber, but i bought some vinyl stickers and put them on...
It took around 2 hours to get all 4 panels done (it takes time to get it perfectly on there)... But it was well worth it.. But what do y'all think?? Next im gonna cover the WHOLE rear spoiler in carbon fiber... but hopefully it will be easy lol, as it doesnt seem like it would be... |
Me gusta! Lol looks good!

Pretty good for a sticker!

Looks good! Nice and subtle, but it gives a part of the car that rarely gets any attention some detail. I agree that it's pretty hard to line up the weave so that it comes out straight and on point. Best of luck with the rear spoiler.

I wrapped mine w cf like that. Bout to remove it though bc I ordered some real carbon fiber panels
|
How did you take it off?

Make sure you prep the surface REAL clean with rubbing alcohol. Lesser quality kits such as ebay or the one you purchased use a very soft resin epoxy which they promote as "flexible" and also a lower grade adhesive. The edges/corners of these "flexible" resin's tend to peel more easily over time. So surface prep is very important especially around the edges.

looks good. snaggle, did you buy these pre-cut or you bought the sheet and cut them yourself? always thought about doing my window panels in satin black to match my roof.

yep thats why i didnt buy the ebay ones. I had them send me a sample to see if I would like them. I always used 3m adhesion promoter before I applied my vinyl as well after prepping

I bought a whole role of it for $20 ... (3m quality)... and you need to cut it out bigger than the panel, stick it on there, and cut around it with an exacto knife. |
