I just notice that after certain time the headlights just turn off by itself and I turn the switch to off position and they back on (for a small time). The repair man do not want to deal with it and they just want to replace the whole headlight set ($1500). I want to repair them myself.
It's the lights look OK but they make a small noise when they are on (beeeeeep).
I'll appreciate any suggestion.

ballast. maybe keep them for parts or crap them open for a mod, but if they are shutting off it is either the bulb orrr if they are making noise then it is the ballast.

The small sound is normal. Mine has it too. What part of the headlight bulb are you talking about? Low beam? DRL? Or the whole thing? If it's only low beam, and your car has HID, then I suggest you try replace the bulb D4S or swap they bulb from cuz stock HID only requires bulbs to replaced when they are defective. Hope I help?

I had the same problem, and the dealer just replaced the bulb. It was about $210.

the DRL work fine but as soon I swicht to nightmode, the problem with the whole thing and both headlights happen.
