can anyone with a 06-08 2IS please post up a pic of what your stock ML door speakers look like? I was installing Dynamat today and mine looked to be carboard which I didnt expect from the ML speakers but they sound fine so maybe this is just what they were like back then. The one on Sewell's site looks like its made out of a plastic like material and its shinny which I just figured was what they look like on the newer models.

lol, thanks I thought it was okay since it sounded fine. Now im wondering what year did they switch over to the "better quality" looking speakers that are for sale on Sewell. Also would I see a sound difference from upgrading? I doubt it, I would probably only expect to see a longer life coming from the same speaker specs made with better materials.

 

So, Sewell sells audio replacement parts if speakers/twist blow up... I think i need to replace 1 twist and 1 back speaker...

 

what you are seeing is just pictures, if you go to youtube and watch meade916 video of him upgrading his sound system in his 2011 is-f you see his speakers are still like that, he also got ML

 

booooooooo, to answer w0rtez yea they sell replacements and sometimes you can find them cheap on flea bay too
