Default Somewhat of a scare

So with yesterday being friday and all, i left work a little too excited and pushed my 250 home, nothing it shouldn't be able to handle. As i approached a light it changed and i had to stop at a small distance (i didnt slam the brakes) it was enought that most of the cars weight shifted to the front. At the stop light i felt the car shake as if it were about to stall (im familar with all the carbon build up issues) and when the light hit and i went to accelerate my check engine light flashed and check VSC came on not to mention the car felt sluggish (i almost ****ted my self thinking i broke the transmission). I pulled over on the nearest exit a little less than a quarter mile up the road and shut the car off checked for any signs of leaks or smoke and nothing. I started my car again shortly after and no problems whatsoever. the car didn't overheat either. I think the brakes locked up as a saftey feature for collision but i would like others oppinions on how seriously i should take this event.

FYI i have been seeing mild signs of carbon build up im preping to seafoam my car to fix it.

Maybe it's me... But I'm shocked at how many people would be the 250 even after knowing about the carbon build up problem

Sounds like the carbon build up. I've had it happen to me and then had the top engine flush. No problems since. The brakes don't lock up with ABS, they pulse. How many miles on your car?

its part of the reason im looking to get into a 350and To the OP it definitely sounds like you have carbon build up take it to the dealer soon so they scan for the code it produced. If your cars under warrantty they will take care of you

That's gotta be the carbon build up. Take it in to the shop they can pull up the codes. I did the top engine flush then a few months later noticed it again they then stuck a camera in and noticed more build up so they replaced the pistons

Yeah, at 116K im not under warranty so for me its either a matter of seafoam working or trading the car in for something else and taking my loss there but paying to have my pistons replaced is not an idea i see my self warming up to.
