Weird brake clicking noises in very low speeds and stops...
hey guys this may be something covered but after numerous times searching around I may need to create this post because my car might be a special case.
At first I thought it was only cold starts and its definitely not engine cranks. I already have that lol. It really sounds like its coming where my brakes are at. I can't tell because it only comes out when I start the car, and once I move just about 2mph u hear these clicking noises. It almost simultaneously goes off on the left and right back and forth like a (click click click) literally like that. Say it like that within in 1 seconds and thats how it sounds :uh: I let it go since I thought it was a normal thing since things happen with our cars in cold starts but now it seems to make that click sound every time I stop at a signal light or at a stop sign. Right when I am about to go to a full stop it makes a click or 2. Just wondering if this is something I should be concerned about. I have the F-Sport BBKs, and they were professionally installed by the dealership and havent touched them since. I did check the brake pads by reallllllly inspecting them to the fullest without taking them out and they have a lot of meat in them still. Rotors have a lot of life still too. Everything seems pronto. Any insight guys? Possible things I may be confusing this with something else, maybe something about water pump failure?(not sure what exact sound comes from that if there is any), engine knocking (but i am most certainly thats not it).... what do you guys think? I can maybe attach a go pro sometime in the weekend near the fender and get more insight if i can from you guys if that helps. Let me know! I would be totally embarassed if this is a normal thing for bbks and havent known about it before hand :p |
I had that noise when I had my rotoras would drive me crazy. Then I took them off and noise went away..
