My parents are buying an ES, what is a good dealer to buy a lexus certified warranty online? It is about 5 years old and about 45K miles.

It's 5yrs old then it nolonger qualify for extended warranty.

Actually most of the 2008's should be out of the 4 year warranty now too since most of them probably have build dates of before August.

it is in-service date.

Which is September 2007 for the first batch of 2008s to be sold... so yeah most 2008s are past 4 years in-service now... only those sold in the last month before the 2009s went on sale aren't... (or any leftovers sold after 09s hit the lot)

Call Toyota of Greenfield, they will sell you a Lexus extended warranty over the phone at a significant discount. This is where I bought mine.

^agree with this one,lexus dealer where i bought the car offer me another extended warranty in replace to my almost expired 1st extended warranty,try to call your local lexus dealer where you purchased your car maybe they have something for that car.
