IS250 Rear Trunk Spoiler Clip Part #?

I'm trying to attach my spoiler to the trunk, but I can't seem to find the part number for the 3 clips I need anywhere. Even the local lexus dealership (Johnon Lexus of Durham) can't find it. Here's a diagram:

http://mylexparts.com/parts/2008/LEX...up=TRUNK%20LID

But that diagram only shows the top mount spoiler, not the back mount spoiler and apparently that's the same (and only) diagram that the lexus dealer has.

Top Mount Spoiler:

Rear Mount Spoiler:

Can anyone please help, so lost now :uh:

The rear mount spoiler is not a factory item, that's why there is no diagram for it, and there are no clips on the rear mount spoiler. There are 3 studs that are sticking out of the spoiler, and there are nuts that thread onto those studs from the inside of the trunk (M6 x 1.0 thread). If the studs are missing/broken off, you cannot replace them easily. You'd be better off just installing it with the double-sided adhesive tape.

O, I bought an aftermarket carbon fiber spoiler, it has 3 small holes on the spoiler that matches perfectly with the 3 bigger holes on the trunk, what do you think is the best way to install it? I've tried double sided sticky tape already but it fell off once already.

Do you happen to have a picture of the inside of the spoiler?

Sorry for the really late reply, been busy at work and totally forgot about this. Anyway, here are the pictures, any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

Do you still have the original spoiler? I'd suggest your best bet would be to take the factory studs off of it and epoxy them onto the new spoiler, or something of that nature so that you can mount it the way the original accessory spoiler was mounted.

I'm actually having the same issue...my 13 can with the stock rear spoiler and I'm trying to replace it with a cf replica... Exact same size fitment etc... I don't want to use 3m tape and I don't want to break the clips off of the OEM spoiler... Any suggestions?

If you used the correct HD 3M tape and the spolier fell off...you've got installer error.

I don't want to use 3m I want to install using the stock clips... I think that's what remix is saying too
