Made this video for the fellas over on HID planet. But thought you all could benefit as well.
IGNORE, that my headlights are retrofitted. That's not why I made this thread.
I wanted those on the fence to see the difference between the 11 & 12 headlights.
First vid just shows eyelids vs no eyelids
Second vid has the money shot you all want. Just fast forward to 1:24 in that video.
In the second video at the 1minute 25 mark you will see the headlights at 50% brightness. Further down the video they get switched to 100% brightness....

I definitely like the 2012 lights better! It does look much cleaner + "crispier", sharper.

Negative. The 11's I painted and had many modifications done to them EXCEPT I did not touch the color of the LED's that is stock. This thread was SOLELY created to show you all the difference in LED color. THe video was made for the fellas over on HID planet.
The 11's look just like the 12's as far as paint and everything else is concerned EXCEPT the 11's don't have "eyelashes" and the 11's don't have that blue hue to the LED's
Ideally, I'd like the 11's clear lens sans eyelashes and the 12's semi bluer-ish hue.... The more I watch this video and remember what it was like in person, I start to lean towards wishing I had retrofitted 2012 headlights.
