Default Worth modding with high miles?

Hello everyone, I was wondering if it is worth modding my stock is350 with almost 200k miles. I'd want to get a F-Sport Intake/Exhaust and some other less expensive things. I'd like to hear what you guys have to say! Thanks.

Welcome to CL....if you take care of the car then get what you want. You could always sell the parts.

It would depend on how long you plan to keep the car. But IMHO It's never too late too mod your car. You can always resell the parts later down the road. Might as well do what you want with the car and enjoy it while you have it.

I'm not sure how long these cars last but if you plan on keeping it for a long time then why not? Just be prepared and have some money set aside for possible repair bills and maintenence etc considering your mileage is pretty high up there

Why not? how long you plan to keep the car plays into this decision too

Definitely keep money aside for repairs. I have 90k on my car right now and definitely keeping this car for a long time since it won't be paid off till 6 years.

How's the condition of the exterior/interior with that many mileage?

I'd probably be keeping this until it dies

I honestly think you do whatever you want at this point even if you don't plan on keeping the car long, you can always sell us your old parts.

I mod when opportunity arises. For instance I purchased the fsport intake when I needed a new air filter. See. Functional. You must have already changed you suspension a couple times over, ever thought about coilovers? Now's the time to build, she's got pleanty of life in her (provided you took car of her)
