Is this real or fake
Looked in my mailbox when leaving the house this morning and got this letter about my "warranty"....The thing is I purchased this car used and its a 2006 IS350 with 78,XXX miles on it. So i didnt think I had warranty on it.
Is this just a bogus letter from a company trying to get my money or is this legit? If its legit Ill follow up with it thanks for the help eveyone.

Nope, and I don't generally recommend it, too many stories about folks having problems getting claims paid, so I'd recommend doing considerable research on any given 3rd party company before buying from them- not only what they say they cover for how much and how long they've been around, but find folks on car forums who have used them and see their experiences.
I've got a genuine Lexus extended warranty... unfortunately with your years and miles you don't have that option available to you.

I have a third party warranty, i purchased mine for 1250. They only fix things if its engine related that breaks and also that has never been touched/changed before. It does not cover electronics like navigation or any exhaust peieces such cats, o2 . But does cover engines, trannies, drive shaft, ecu, ac, cooling parts and etc.

This is just a scatter mailer sent to folks who may own a car and who may fall for this type of, IMHO, scam.
Is this just a bogus letter from a company trying to get my money or is this legit? If its legit Ill follow up with it thanks for the help eveyone. Again they don't know you or your car
