Floor mat color

Hello everyone, I hate to post simple things like this but was just curious. I believe I'm going to order some of the WeatherTech Digital Fit mats. Seems like they are about the best all-weather from what people say here.

I've searched a lot of the threads and didn't see many pics. I have the Ecru color interior in my 350 and looks like the mats come in black, grey and tan. But looks like a darker tan than the ecru. I thought about maybe the black mats. May be a good contrast with the black dash and all. Wanted to see what others have done and how you like it.

Thanks,

~Nate

Hi Nate,

I have the cashmere interior and I ordered tan. The came in looking like more of a medium brown color. I used them anyway and they sort of add an accent color to the interior. Good luck with your purchase and I wish I had bought them as soon as I got my car instead of waiting 2 winters!

Aren't your carpets black, though? My '07 has the gray interior, but the carpets are black. I have the OEM all weather mats (the dealer gave them to me free), and they look good against the black carpet.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Just want to make sure I'm happy with the color when I get them. Mine has the Ecru carpet color also. Like this ....

My buddy has a tan interior in his Accord and he got the black floor liners. They contrast very nicely

Black will look nice. It'll create a good contrast with your interior.

WeatherTech floormats comes with their own brackets but the stock ones will do just fine.

I would go for black....

Thanks everyone! Was leaning toward the black anyway. I need some good mats esp for my kids in the back. Their feet like to wonder and these mats seem to be the best coverage.

yes hiiighly recommend black. anything else will show dirt like crazy, and it will just drive you insane. you'll be using dawn/oxyclean and wire brushes on it every time you wash your car, I assure you...

Since the car is already two tone, it won't hurt having black mats. Plus anything else and you'll run the risk of trying to match ecru (good luck) and it won't match and probably will also drive you insane unless you go OEM.

I have black mats in my ecru/sfp IS. it's two tone as well, and I think it flows nicely.

It is difficult to match the tan color of the floor liners to the color of your interior. This is why lot of people like going with the black WeatherTech Floor Liners if they have a tan interior as it does provide a nice contrast.

I would also recommend looking into Husky Floor Liners.

Black is nice. Contrast and easier to maintain. I love my digital liners.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Def going with the black WeatherTech liners. The Husky look good too but doesn't look like they make them for the IS ?
