Default Tow Hook Cover Question

Just got a no front license plate ticket. I ordered a tow hook license plate bracket. So my dumb questions is, does the front tow hook cover just pop off? I just didn't want to scratch it. Thanks guys.

Yep, it just pops off. Use a small flathead screwdriver and put something like a soft cloth over the tip so it doesn't scratch your paint. Then simply use it to slowly pop it off.

No problem! Also, I can't remember for sure, but I think there's a little "wire" that holds the cover piece onto the bumper. So you may have to remove that wire holding the cover on if you're installing the plate.

Prior to asking I did a quick search and didn't see any pics or details so what I'll do is take a couple of photos just so we can have something as a reference.

You can pry off the cover like Killa said. The plastic tabs are on the sides of the cover and there is a small plastic "wire" that prevents the cover from falling when it's removed. It should be attached to one of the corners in the bumper cutout.

What bracket did you order? I'm looking to move mine away from the center.

Received my Tow Hook Bracket today. Pretty cool.

As for instructions they refere you to the video on their website. While we don't have Subi's I imagine its pretty close to what we have. I should get to it over the weekend.
