Default Wtf? Shop replaced my valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals.

So I left it there for half a day and I pick it up. The car felt sluggish and didn't seem like I was driving an is350. Seems like my pickup is much slower and i feel kind of ffy at what they did to my car. My feeling is that they switched the is250 motor with my is350 motor cause it doesn't seem the same.

What should I do guys?

a motor swap is usually a few grand, which would be reflected in your bill. they wouldnt just do that **** for free, even if it was to 'steal' your 350 engine.

hahaha this is funny!

on a more serious note you may want to try resetting the ecu by unhooking the ground from your battery for a few minutes. Try it after that

LOL did you ever try driving a 250? Those with the 250 knows what sluggish means.

Walk around to the rear and see if there is an IS250 badge. There is no way they would swap the engine without changing the badge on the back. I am pretty sure the car would also throw a check engine light as well, since no self respecting IS350 would let you run around with a 250 engine in it without telling you. You could also ask the guy that lives under the hood and does the diagnostics if he noticed any thing strange.
Hope this helps.

Take it back to the shop and explain what you feel is going on with the car. No sense you trying to self-diagnose it when it may be something that they did.

Did they disconnect a sensor? You might want to do a simple visual to see if anything is disconnected.

They will when they see a real man driving a manual. Something the 250 will always have over the 350.
