Default Xenon Depot 6K Volt HID Kit Review

Shout out to Steve from Xenon Depot for providing me excellent customer service, I would definitely recommend anyone looking for an HID kit to talk with Steve. Hes a great guy and gives us great pricing!

Long story short, Ive been through a few different bulbs/ballasts in the past month. Im what you would call a lighting wh0re I didnt have the greatest experience with another company so I went ahead and contacted Steve. Ive heard from other members on various other threads about the great customer service he provides and they were absolutely right. That and the great quality products that he sells have made me a long life Xenon Depot customer

I ordered the 6K Volt HID kit for my low beams (H11) and fogs (9006) and they got to me pretty quick. About 4 business days from Canada to Florida. I was very impressed with the packaging and the look of the products. The kit has a very good quality "feel" to it if that makes any sense

I was pleasantly surprised to see that the kit also included zip ties and double sided tape. Very useful for the install which is simple plug and play. The bulbs and ballasts felt like quality products, and were a lot better than others that I have used.

Keep in mind that my iPhone 4s doesnt capture the color quality very well. It makes the 6Ks look like 5Ks. In person the lights are a bright white with a slight hint of blue.

Nice! I think i'm gonna order a 6K Volt kit for my fogs too. The HIDextra ones i got have given me issues from the beginning, and one side completely died within a few months anyways...i'm not even gonna bother returning them for replacements lol.

I used to have Hidextra 3K bulbs for my fogs and they looked good with yellow overlays. Xenondepot's quality seems to be better

Bob, ppsst!!

Just need to get HID projector housings then it will look awesome!

It looks like more of a glare on the ground! The same problem I noticed when I went with HID fog but am already in the works of changing to projectors.

I dont really mind the reflector fogs. I would love to get projectors but not for their price tag lol

I'm actually having a company working on it for me. All I would need to do plug and play.

How much are they charging you for parts and labor?

It's about $250+. This doesn't include that you would need to provide them with the lamps to retrofit the projector in. Provided the fog bracket to them so they can make sure everything lines up.

In my case my fog design is different than yours since mine is a 11+ car.

It was suppose to be done months ago but the source the sourced it too failed to complete it. Now the company itself is doing it, so it should be done near the end of the month as they just started recently. The company was waiting because they were getting a set of new differnet projectors and wanted to compare the measurements compared to the initial recommended projectors. Based on their findings they will use either one to make the retrofit happen.

I will get some money back for the inconvinence.
