That DIY looks really good, so tempted to do it. Are you by any chance in GTA?

So it's not possible to put 2012 OEM headlights on a pre 2011 model car without modifications like changing also to 2012 bumper , grills , liners , etc. ?

Hi Hertz. But that is Sewell headlights , not OEM headlights right ? Maybe the Sewell headlights are modified little bit to fit pre 2011 IS's ? I am planning to make my dealership fit 2012 OEM headlights.

That I dont know, but they do look like OEM lights tho. And it's going to cost a lot if you are getting it done from the dealer. :)

The Sewell headlights are OEM and not modified.

Yeah it's going to cost a lot but I think my insurance is paying the labor cost. So all i would have to pay extra are for 2012 OEM headlights difference in costs compared to my 2010 OEM headlights , wiring etc. Fingers crossed still :p .

I will be going to my dealership tomorrow aparently to sign some papers stating that I should not hold them responsible if anything goes wrong after they install the 2012 OEM headlights like catching fire , dashboard electronics not working or anything it seems  Don't know if they are trying to scare me , might consider keeping my stock itself as I don't want to void my warranty and have all these headaches.

Thanks Sango, dealership said today that they can fix as soon as they receive the parts which is 30 days but my warranty will be voided.
