I currently have an 08 IS250 AWD. What is the biggest difference in the 09 and 10?

the front bumper on the 09 and 10 are slightly different than the earlier models and the tail lights are also different just slightly though nothing too major

I think the 09+ comes with the antenna on the roof also.

09->10:
Nav system upgraded to 6th gen (brings nav into this century- adds realtime traffic, XM now built in, HD based nav instead of DVD)
BT now available without nav and supports A2DP

10->11:
Second face lift (same type of cosmetic changes but different, as the 09 one)
HIDs get LED DRLs
AFS no longer available
Passenger memory seat no longer offered
PCS no longer offered
ML without nav no longer offered (this might've been a 2010 change- not sure)

11>12:
Nothing major I'm aware of



I left out things not relevant to AWD models (like when the X package was added and removed, or the sport/F-sport package changes) and I'm sure I missed some things, but that should've hit most of it

08 and earlier seem to be far more modable, if that's what you're looking for... most mods seem to go for the 06-08s... I'm having trouble finding lips and such that I like that fit 09+

the lighted mirrors are amazing though on the 09+

The mods for bodykit's for the 2009 + years are a little more expensive.

ahem... The biggest difference is that the 09+ have a green digital clock instead of a white clock. Glad you asked.

sucks that parts like a front lip cost more for the '09+ models not only that but they are somewhat harder to find

USB jack was added in model year 2010.

Around mid 2010, a production change was made to the engine of the IS250 that is supposed to solve the carbon build-up problem. It's one of the best kept secrets of this forum and IS community in general. Look for carbon buildup thread for specific VIN number info.
